A note on the arithmetic: the model compounds monthly, so $500 at 5% over 20 years is $1,356 rather than the $1,327 you get from 1.0520. If a student checks you with an annual figure, they are not wrong about the method, only about the convention. It is stated on the pages that carry a rate.
Written answers are not here and cannot be. The four questions at the end of a run and the reflections in each part have no correct answer, which is the point of asking them. The four-point scale on the teacher page is for those.
